DESCRIPTION:What precisely is presupposed by the very idea of a research? Further, what
  demands do these presuppositions, consequently, pose for us? In addressing
  these questions, the workshop will shed some perspectival light on what 'd
 oing' research entails, and what constitutes an object of research.\nSpeake
 r Bio:\nP. G. Jung is a faculty member at the Department of Humanities and 
 Social Sciences, IIT Bombay. His area of research and publications explore 
 the historical tracing of philosophical concepts and the problems concernin
 g philosophy of language and values. Apart from the research articles that 
 he has authored, he is also the co-editor of 'Cultural Ontology of the Self
  in Pain' (Springer, 2016) and 'Teaching in Unequal Societies' (Bloomsbury,
  2020). He is the co-author of 'Understanding Money: Philosophical Framewor
 ks of Monetary Value' (Routledge, 2022). His last monograph, 'Three Formula
 tions of Autonomy: Kant, Sade and Nietzsche' (2024), is published by the In
 dian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla.\n\n\n
